Acoustic Guitars

Its not easy to summarise in a short article here, but here are a few thoughts when choosing an acoustic guitar. First to say, all the guitars in this section are metal stringed, so not to be confused with classical types that nearly always have nylon strings. Body sizes vary, but the western is generally a slightly smaller body size then the dreadnought and in turn the jumbo. Price is not always a guide to quality, but in general the higher priced guitars sound better and often have more accurate fret work, so chords remain in tune as you move up the board. Consider a dreadnought or jumbo style guitar if you want a high sound output, as the larger body size helps produce more sound.
