The Lyonforge 1U two-channel power amplifiers are engineered for professional sound reinforcement in environments such as theatres, education facilities, restaurants, pubs, and multi-purpose venues. Designed for both full-range front-of-house systems and background music distribution, they offer a balance of output capability, efficiency, and reliability within a compact rackmount format.
Each unit is housed in a 19-inch, 1U-high (44mm) chassis, delivering up to 350 W RMS per channel, with additional power ratings available to match a wide range of loudspeaker configurations. Utilising a lightweight switch-mode power supply with soft-start protection, the amplifiers provide stable performance while maintaining energy efficiency.
Operating flexibility is supported through stereo, mono, and bridged modes, while temperature-controlled fans ensure efficient yet quiet cooling. A built-in peak limiter reduces the risk of clipping and safeguards loudspeaker drivers during high-level operation. Adjustable input sensitivity settings0.775 V, 1.0 V, and 32 dB allowing enhanced compatibility with varied signal sources and system designs.
For installation security, the amplifiers integrate robust protection against DC faults, thermal overload, short circuits, and over-current conditions. Balanced XLR inputs with link outputs are provided for signal distribution, alongside Speakon outputs for secure and professional loudspeaker connections.
